DVD vs VHS?

I would like to know if its possible to rerecord over a dvd disk, as I am able to do with my vhs recorder. I don't like to keep stacks of tapes and etc,. so the one advantage with vhs is that i can daily rerecord over the previous day record. Can this be done with dvd disks? I know it cannot be done with dvd-r..aka..cd-r, but how about another format of disk? What is the comparable dvd disk as to cd-rw? Received on Tue Dec 02 2003 - 06:46:14 PST
