Jumping MP3's Please help !!!!

Hi,

Have just got a new machine with Windows XP home and I downloaded the latest version of Winamp to play my MP3 Files. On my old machine I played them using Real Jukebox which is quite ancient and now out of date. It causes problems on XP hence Winamp.

However MP3's that played perfect on Real Jukebox and Easy CD 5 Platinum on my old machine Win98se now jump and miss bits out but never in the same place on the file, it seems to start flipping by the time it is playing the second track in a sequence. I have run a check on all my MP3 files for errors using a special program and they all check out error free. I get the same problem if I play the files on the Creative Play Centre which came with my machine. I have not used the Windows Media player as I am told it can mess up your files.

Any Ideas suggestions much appreciated Thanks and Regards
