Somewhere, the word "public" has to be incorporated.

As far as I'm concerned, what one does in the privacy of ones home, or in places designated for that specific action, are that persons business. In addition to smoking, if you want to sit around naked, shooting up heroin, while gambling and watching porn, go for it.

While I might not enjoy hearing about it, it's your business.

But, if those things are done in public, it becomes (partially) my business.
