Wooden skeleton house building questions...

Hi all,

Here in Belgium we are just starting to build houses in wooden skeleton instead of solid bricks. It will have a solid brick outside though. Wooden outsides are mostly not allowed here.

Now I do have some questions about these wooden skeleton houses:

  1. What is the best construct from the outside in:
  2. bricks, air, Rockwool, OSB, skeleton+Rockwool, plastic foil, Gyproc
  3. bricks, air, Rockwool, skeleton+Rockwool, OSB, plastic foil, Gyproc

I don't know if you know these Branded product so:    OSB = plate of qlued wooden scale
Gyproc = plaster plates with carton outside    Rockwool = isolation

2) Can I use recycled synthetics bars as the foundation under the wooden skeleton to flatten the concrete floor and protect the wood against moisture?
Or would these not hold the weight or expand to mutch depending on the outside temperture. Maybe there is a better way or material, but I hate to work with cement...

3) The company that delivers the wood tells me the best thing to use for the floor between the 2 levels isn't solid wood but some Canadian imported special made contruct of 2 seperate smaller solid wooden bars with a glued wooden scale's plate in between. This would be stronger, easyer to handel and gives less movements in the building. Now I hope there isn't a known problem in the world of these things, like that they lose their strength over time....

Thanks for reading this and hopefully you can provide me with serious advise.
